England truly does have it all. Anything you'd like to do can be
done in any of the states in the region. Whether it's is a strenuous
activity, such as biking, rock climbing, swimming, running or walking,
you'll have plenty of opportunity to engage in your favorite activity.
Some areas within the region are magnet sites for specific sports.
Stowe, Vermont, for instance, is home to the first ski area in the
East, and it is also a hotspot for biking, golf, hiking and site
seeing.

There is plenty of opportunity for the more passive pursuits, as well as active ones. Whether it's antiquing or sailing, fishing or whale watching, it's available here in this unique and exciting region.
Camping is one of the most exciting and common activities for individuals and families. As such, it can be difficult to find an available campsite, so we encourage you to make reservations at one of the region's many campgrounds as soon as is possible. We'd also encourage you to call ahead to make sure the space is available for you.
It's important to consider that such activities as fishing
and hunting require licenses. To get a hunting license you must
be able to prove that you've successfully completed a hunter safety
course. To find out more about licensing requirements, please visit
our Laws, Regulations and Licensing page to get more information.
We've set up New England Guide.Com to help
you, in as many ways as possible, decide where to go based on what you'd like to do.
